Cross channel idents and intros for 4Music

A dynamic identity re-design for 4Music

4Music (a division of channel 4), are at the leading edge of music and entertainment broadcast for television. Prior to their recent rebrand, our Motion Director Simon Kristall was drafted in to assist their in-house team to create a suite of motion graphics for the entire channel. This included the intro stingers, idents and programme introduction sequences.

The idea of using abstract elements to construct and form the 4 brandmark has been a running theme for the channel for many years. It was important to the channel that they retained the visual cues of their original identity, so a mixing desk idea was adopted to form the 4 to head the intro headers and various idents for the channel. A combination of 3D Studio Max and Adobe Premier were used to create the final broadcast ready clips.
