Communicating the footsteps to cancer recovery and what it means for patients

Current cancer waiting time targets within the NHS are 62 days wait between urgent referral for suspected cancer and the start of treatment.

A cancer patient’s journey begins with the news that no one ever wants to hear, yet the footsteps to recovery begin from that very point. We were asked to create an extremely emotive piece of motion video to outline the importance of specific stages in cancer treatment for patients and medical staff, ensuring patients are treated quickly and efficiently.

This is an internal video aimed at consultants and clerical staff to educate them on the importance of these targets and how they directly affect a patient’s journey to recovery.
